>> Georgia Tech begins a stretch of eight of its next nine games on road this with match-ups at Kennesaw State and Georgia State this week. Both games begin at 6 p.m.
>> The Jackets have won four of their last five and are fresh off a series win over Miami. After dropping the opener, Tech rallied from 6-0 down to win Saturday’s first game, then won the finale with a walk-off single from rookie Connor Justus in the 10th inning.
>> Tech is looking even the season series with KSU after dropping an extra-inning affair to the Owls on Feb. 25. The Panthers make return trip to Russ Chandler Stadium on April 8.
>> A pair of rookie southpaws draw the midweek starts in Tanner Shelton and Ben Parr. Tuesday marks the second start for Shelton, while Parr is set for his first start Wednesday.
>> Freshman catcher Arden Pabst has been strong defensively, and the rookie has thrown out 50% of potential base-stealers this season — 6 of 12.
>> Tech leads the KSU series 15-5, but is just 3-3 at Stillman Stadium. Tech is 58-10 versus GSU, including a 24-6 road mark.
