Signed with Georgia Tech on April 7, 1999 … Honorable mention USA Today all-America … Second-team AAAA all-state choice … Helped lead the Georgia Magic AAU team to the national 18-under championship during the summer of 1999 … Led all scorers with 13 points in the Georgia-Tennessee All-Star Girls’ Basketball game … Averaged 20.6 points, 6.3 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 3.8 steals per game as senior, guiding her team to a 22-6 record … Helped revive a struggling girls’ basketball program at Norcorss High … Guided her team to a 44-13 record and two state tournament berths in her last two seasons after the team finished 5-19 her freshman year and 13-14 her sophomore year … Averaged 21.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 3.1 steals as a junior in 1998, leading her team won the region title and a 22-8 record … Two-time Gwinnett County Player of the Year by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and the Gwinnett Post … Ended her prep career as the second-leading scorer in Gwinnett County history with 2,035 points … Also finished second in county history with 569 career assists … Scored 43 points which ranks as the third-best single-game total in county history … Elected Miss Norcross by her high school’s faculty and the Homecoming Queen for basketball by the student body.
