Women’s Tennis Signs Ida Jarlskog

THE FLATS – Georgia Tech women’s tennis head coach Rodney Harmon announced today Ida Jarlskog has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Yellow Jackets beginning in the 2017-18 season.

Jarlskog, a native of Lund, Sweden, is currently ranked No. 63 in the International Tennis Federation (ITF) World Junior Rankings.

“I am so excited to have Ida join our team in the Class of 2017,” commented Harmon. “She has a ton of international experience both in junior and pro events. Ida is a very good student as well and I am sure she will excel both on the court and in the classroom.”

She has represented her native country in international competitions including the recent 2016 ETA (European Tennis Association) Summer Cup, a team competition that matches the top male and female junior players from Europe.
