Women’s Tennis Announces Spring Slate

THE FLATS – Coming off a successful fall campaign, Georgia Tech women’s tennis announced its spring slate on Thursday. The schedule is highlighted by 11 home matches and hosting the ITA Kick-Off Weekend.

Action gets underway with the Gamecock Invitational at South Carolina, Jan. 15-17, before dual play begins on Jan. 22 when the Yellow Jackets host Georgia Southern. Tech then welcomes Michigan, Ole Miss and Old Dominion for the ITA Kick-Off Weekend, Jan. 29-30, with the teams vying for a spot in the ITA National Team Indoor Championships (Feb. 11-14).

The Jackets visit Auburn (Feb. 4) before hosting Northwestern (Feb. 6). Following ITA Indoors, Mercer visits Atlanta on Feb. 21 before Atlantic Coast Conference play gets underway. Four-straight road matches open the ACC slate with visits to Miami (Feb. 25), Florida State (Feb. 27), Syracuse (March 4) and Boston College (March 6).

Tech returns home on March 11 to open a four-match homestand welcoming Louisville, Notre Dame (March 13), Wake Forest (March 18) and NC State (March 20). A quick trip to College of Charleston on March 26 precedes a visit from Georgia on March 30.

Clemson visits the Ken Byers Tennis Complex on April 2 before Tech makes a trip to North Carolina to face Duke (April 8) and UNC (April 10). Georgia Tech will conclude regular season action hosting Virginia Tech and Virginia on April 15 and 17, respectively.

The ACC Championships return to Rome, Ga., April 20-24, before NCAA Tournament action in May.
