Women’s Basketball Travels to #ACCMediaDay

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Georgia Tech head coach MaChelle Joseph, senior forward Zaire O’Neil and sophomore guard Francesca Pan participated in the 2017 Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Basketball Media Day on Thursday at the Westin Charlotte in Charlotte, N.C.

The media day opened with the conference office announcing the preseason poll and awards. Tech was picked sixth in the ACC Preseason Poll by the league’s head coaches and ninth by the Blue Ribbon Panel. Additionally, Pan was selected to the Preseason All-ACC team and freshman Lorela Cubaj was named to the Newcomer Watch List. To view the full preseason awards list, please click here.

During the day, the Yellow Jackets made several stops with local, regional and national media. Tech began the day with a press conference, followed by interviews with Raycom, Fox Sports South and ESPN. The Jackets also had photo shoots with ESPN and Raycom.
