ATLANTA – With Georgia Tech’s 2008-09 women’s basketball season just around corner, the Yellow Jackets announced the sale of season tickets for all home games, played at Alexander Memorial Coliseum. Tech will host 16 teams, including in-state rival Georgia, as well as Atlantic Coast Conference powerhouses North Carolina and Maryland.
Adults may purchase season tickets for $40, while children 18 and under and senior citizens 55 and older season tickets are only $25. Single game tickets are $4 for adults and $2 for children and senior citizens. With promotions and special events at select match-ups, Tech home games offer affordable fun for fans of all ages. Fans interested in renewing their season tickets can do so for a discounted rate of $30.
The Georgia Tech ticket office is also offering the Women’s Sports Pass for the second straight season. The package not only includes season tickets for the women’s basketball, it also includes tickets for volleyball. Packages are $50 for adults and $40 for children 18 and under and senior citizens 55 and older.
Another option for fans is the “Rage Against the Red” flex pack, which includes tickets to the Yellow Jackets games against Georgia, Maryland and NC State. Fans can purchase the flex pack for $10.
The Yellow Jackets are also offering special packages for Georgia Tech alumni, Wreckin’ Crew members and fans of the WNBA.
Georgia Tech, coming of back-to-back 20-win seasons and its second straight NCAA Tournament appearance, returns nine letterwinners including starters Jacqua Williams, Alex Montgomery and Iasia Hemingway for the upcoming season. The Yellow Jackets also welcome there second straight top 10 recruiting class to the Flats.
