Williams Tabbed ACC Performer of the Week

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Georgia Tech women’s track and field senior Jeanine Williams was tabbed the ACC Track Performer of the Week following her performance at the Bob Pollock Invitational on Saturday.

The honor is William’s second of the 2018-19 indoor season after being named the ACC Track Performer of the Month in December.

Williams finished in second in the 60m hurdles in both the prelims (8.10) and in finals (8.11) at the Bob Pollock Invitational, hosted by Clemson. She now ranks fifth on the national list. Williams has posted a top-two finish in the 60m hurdles each race this season. She also finished seventh in the 200m on Saturday.

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Friday, Feb. 1 when they head to Ann Arbor, Mich., to compete in the Power Five Invitational.
