THE FLATS – Kickoff times and television arrangements have been finalized for two more 2019 Georgia Tech home football games, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced on Thursday. The Yellow Jackets’ Sept. 14 contest versus The Citadel will kick off at 12:30 p.m. and be televised on the ACC’s Regional Sports Network while the Jackets’ home date against NC State on Thursday, Nov. 21 will start at 8 p.m. and be carried in primetime on ESPN.
With Thursday’s announcement, game times are now set for four of Georgia Tech’s 12 regular-season contests in 2019. On Wednesday, the ACC announced that the Jackets’ season opener at Clemson will kick off at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 29 and Tech’s home opener versus USF will start at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7. Both of those contests will be televised on the ACC Network, which launches on Aug. 22 (for more information and to learn if your cable/satellite/digital provider is committed to carrying the ACC Network, visit GetACCN.com).
Thanks to the excitement surrounding new head coach Geoff Collins and the great value of 2019 season tickets (reserved seats for seven home games – including the regular-season finale vs. archrival Georgia – beginning at just $219 and Stinger Mobile Passes starting at just $149), Georgia Tech has already sold more season tickets than it did for all of 2018.
