THE FLATS – With 18 weeks still to go before the Sept. 7 home opener against USF, 2019 Georgia Tech football season ticket sales have already surpassed the number sold for all of 2018, Georgia Tech athletics announced on Monday.
The 2019 sales are highlighted by a 40-percent increase in new season ticket buyers over 2018. The sales pace is currently trending for Georgia Tech to sell its most season tickets since 2015, the year after the Yellow Jackets’ 2014 ACC Coastal Division championship, Orange Bowl victory and No. 7 final national ranking.

This year’s sales surge can be attributed in large part to excitement surrounding the arrival of head coach Geoff Collins, as well as the great value of 2019 season tickets (reserved seats for seven home games – including the regular-season finale vs. archrival Georgia – beginning at $219 and Stinger Mobile Passes starting at just $149).
