TV, Radio Coverage for Tech-Georgia Game

ATLANTA–Twentieth-ranked Georgia Tech hosts No. 13 Georgia in the annual rivalry game Saturday at Bobby Dodd Stadium/Grant Field. Kickoff is at 8 p.m. ET and the game will be televised on a split-national basis on ABC TV.

The Yellow Jackets’ 10th televised game this season and fourth appearance on ABC will feature the announcing crew of Brad Nessler, Bob Griese and Lynn Swann.

Atlanta ABC affiliate WSB-TV will air a pregame show from 7-8 p.m., live from Bobby Dodd Stadium.

Radio coverage for the Tech-Georgia game is available on the Georgia Tech-ISP Radio network, including Atlanta flagship station WQXI-AM 790 the Zone. In the Atlanta area, FM coverage is available on WREK-FM 91.1. A complete list of radio affiliates carrying the game is below.

Wes Durham is in his 11th season as the Voice of the Yellow Jackets. He is joined in the booth by Atlanta Falcons legend Jeff Van Note, while former Tech and NFL quarterback Rick Strom joins the broadcast team this season as the sideline reporter.

Pregame coverage begins at 7 p.m. with Yellow Jacket Countdown.

The Tech radio broadcast is also available on XM Radio (ACC Channels 191-194)

Tech fans can preview Saturday’s game beginning with a special Wednesday holiday edition of the Chan Gailey Radio Show from 12-1 p.m. ET on WQXI-AM 790 the Zone, as well as selected affiliates around the state.

“Georgia Tech Sports Today with Chan Gailey,” the weekly half-hour television program featuring the Tech head coach, can be seen at the following times:

Thursday, 4 p.m., Sunshine Network

Friday, 12:30 p.m., Fox Sports Net South

Friday, 5:30 p.m., Comcast/Charter Sports Southeast (CSS)

Saturday, 11 a.m., WAGA-TV Fox 5

A television replay of the game will be shown on CSS-TV n Tuesday, Nov. 29. Please note that the times will change from past weeks. The game will be shown in its entirety at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m., featuring former Georgia Tech quarterback Joe Hamilton and former Georgia signal-caller Buck Belue.
