Tonight's Game Postponed

Feb. 21, 2008

ATLANTA – Due to a leak in the Alexander Memorial Coliseum roof, tonight’s men’s basketball game between Georgia Tech and Virginia has been postponed as a precautionary measure for the safety of the student-athletes.

Georgia Tech, Virginia and the ACC office will work to identify a date for a make-up game that would be mutually agreeable between the two schools.

“We’re going to work very hard to find a make-up date,” Athletics Director Dan Radakovich said. “We will begin tomorrow to find a window to play this game. I think it’s important to the student-athletes who prepared to play this game that we find an opportunity for them to play.”
