Saturday’s #GTWhiteOut game vs. Miami will be Georgia Tech’s 12th home night game of the Paul Johnson era and the Yellow Jackets’ first of the 2014 season. Georgia Tech is 8-3 in home night games under Johnson, including a 5-2 mark in ACC play.

HONORARY CAPTAIN: Felipe Claybrooks
Former Yellow Jackets defense end Felipe Claybrooks, a member of four Georgia Tech bowl teams, will be the honorary captain for Saturday’s game. Claybrooks, who was Tech’s team captain in 2000, was a member of GT’s team that shared the 1998 ACC title. He helped led the Jackets to the 1997 Carquest Bowl, 1998 Toyota Gator Bowl, 1999 Toyota Gator Bowl, and 2000 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.

With the integration of BitPay on Georgia Tech’s campus, students can now purchase concessions with bitcoin at home football games. Georgia Tech is the first university in the world to accept BitPay. Concessions locations accepting BitPay point-of-sale transactions are located behind sections 113, 115 and 132.
