Terry To Take Time Off From Women's Basketball

ATLANTA – Kasha Terry will to take time off from the Yellow Jacket women’s basketball team citing personal reasons, as announced by Terry and Georgia Tech head coach MaChelle Joseph Friday. At the request of the student-athlete, no further information will be provided at this time.

The junior helped the Yellow Jackets to a 10-2 record this season, and the Jackets are 42-28 in the 70 games that she’s played in during her three-year career. She has started 45 games in her career, including 11 in 2004-05 and is averaging 6.5 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game this season. In her career, Terry has averaged 5.5 points and 4.9 rebounds per game and has blocked 140 shots, which places her third all-time in the Georgia Tech annals.

The international affairs major will remain enrolled at Georgia Tech.
