National Rankings
Georgia Tech opens the 2017 season ranked No. 11 in the ITA National rankings. Tech is one of five ACC teams to enter the season ranked nationally. The Jackets also boast two players ranked in singles as Rasheeda McAdoo comes in at No. 42, while freshman Nami Otsuka joins McAdoo and is ranked No. 82.

Familiar Faces Await
As the Yellow Jackets head out west this weekend, a familiar face will greet the squad as Oregon head coach Alison Silverio enters her third season at the helm of the Ducks. Silverio served as an assistant coach at Tech for four years after proudly wearing the Tech uniform and helping lead the Jackets to a 2007 National Championship.

Last Time Out
Capping off the fall tournament schedule, Tech’s freshmen class made the trip over to Tuscaloosa to compete in the Roberta Allison Invite. Nadia Gizdova and Nami Otsuka claimed their doubles title, while Kenya Jones competed in the title match of her singles draw.

Next Up
Georgia Tech will host the ITA Kickoff Jan. 28-29 and welcome Penn, UCLA and Kentucky to the Ken Byers Tennis Complex.
