ATLANTA – For the first time since the 1992-93 season, the Georgia Tech women’s basketball team (16-3, 3-2 ACC) is listed among the nation’s elite in the Associated Press Top 25 poll.
The Yellow Jackets, ranked 23rd in this week’s poll, is on the national radar for the first time since earning a No. 24 ranking in the Jan. 19, 1993 poll, exactly 14 years ago. Tech is coming off a 67-63 win at NC State last Thursday and a double-overtime loss at No. 4 Maryland on Sunday.
