>> Each team has won seven of its last 10 games overall, while the Bears’ 31 wins are fifth-most in the NCAA. Mercer has flirted with the top-25 much of the year and is riding a nine-game home winning streak.
>> The Jackets took down No. 1 Florida State twice last weekend, beat rival Georgia last Tuesday, and have previous ACC series wins over then-No. 13 North Carolina and No. 22 Miami. Tech is 6-3 versus ranked teams this season.

>> Lefty Ben Parr draws his sixth consecutive midweek start on Tuesday. Over his previous five starts, the rookie has pitched to a 1.30 ERA and is 4-1. He allowed just four hits and two runs over five innings in a tough-luck loss to the Bears on March 25.
