Series Notes vs. UNC Wilmington

Two meetings took place in 1977 under head coach Dwane Morrison, a 63-57 win on Feb. 21 and a 77-67 win on Nov. 28 of that year. All three previous meetings took place at Alexander Memorial Coliseum.
Georgia Tech is 33-4 all-time against current members of the Colonial Athletic Association – two losses to Georgia State, one each to Hofstra and William & Mary.
Tech head coach Brian Gregory has never faced UNC Wilmington. Tech is 2-1 against teams coached by UNCW coach Buzz Peterson, having defeated his Appalachian State team in Atlanta on Dec. 5, 1998, and splitting a pair of games with his Tennessee teams in 2002 and 2004.
