Tech Baseball Adds Games With Winthrop and Savannah State

ATLANTA – The eighth-ranked Georgia Tech baseball team has added two games to its 2003 schedule. The Yellow Jackets will host Winthrop at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2, and Savannah State next Wednesday, April 9, at Russ Chandler Stadium.

First pitch for both games is 7 p.m., and tickets will be available at the stadium box office. Georgia Tech baseball season ticket holders will be granted admission at the third base ticket booth.

Georgia Tech has a record of 21-5 this season while the Eagles are 16-11. The Tigers of Savannah State hold a 25-5 record in 2003.

Following Wednesday’s game, the Jackets will travel to Chapel Hill to take on North Carolina in their next Atlantic Coast Conference series.
