Student-Athlete Advisory Board To Hold Annual Toy Drive at Tech-Duke Football Game

Nov. 7, 2012

THE FLATS – The Georgia Tech Student-Athlete Advisory Board will sponsor the 12th annual Michael Isenhour Toy Drive at the football game against Duke on Nov. 17 at Bobby Dodd Stadium.

Fans are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy to the game. Fans can also make a monetary gift. The donations will be collected at all gates of Bobby Dodd Stadium on game day or they can be dropped off at the Georgia Tech Athletic Association during business hours.

The SAAB will distribute all toys and monies collected to the Atlanta Children’s Shelter.

The Toy Drive is named in honor of former Tech basketball letterman and Student-Athlete Advisory Board member Michael Isenhour, who died in 2002 following a battle with leukemia. Isenhour spearheaded the first Toy Drive in 2001 to help families affected by Sept. 11, and since then, the Advisory Board has continued the annual project in his memory.
