Due to the forecast for heavy rain and thunderstorms, softball’s new stadium celebration for Shirley Clements Mewborn Field has been moved to Sunday, March 29. Gates will open up at 11:30 a.m.

Georgia Tech Softball is set to host Florida State in a doubleheader Saturday at 1 p.m. and then a single game on Sunday at 1 p.m. Any changes to the game times will be posted at immediately.

The first 200 fans through the gates on Sunday will receive a commemorative t-shirt and there will be free popcorn for all fans while supplies last. There will be games for the kids in the parking lot behind right field from the time the gates open at 11:30 a.m. until first pitch at 1 p.m. Throughout the game, there will be raffles, promotions and give-a-ways including softball bingo and a chance to sit in the best seat in the house.

Parking for softball will be available in the big AMC lot, along Fowler and 8th streets and in Peter’s Parking Deck.
