Georgia Tech (19-12; 8-8 ACC)
The Yellow Jackets dropped a heart-breaking game Wednesday, 9-7, at No. 15 Georgia. Tech was up 7-5 on the Bulldogs, but a rocky sixth inning and timely Georgia hitting gave the Bulldogs the victory.
Tech has not played an ACC game since going 1-2 in a three-game set March 21-22 against Syracuse. The Jackets are currently in sixth place in the league standings, while Virginia Tech is fourth.
Series History
Georgia Tech leads the all-time series, 21-15. Last season, the Jackets went 1-2 against the Hokies in Blacksburg, Va. and Tech has won six of the last 10 matchups against the Hokies.
