THE FLATS – The Georgia Tech softball team (10-13, 3-3 ACC) welcomes Pitt (20-4, 2-1) for a three-game series March 14-15 at Mewborn Field. Action begins Saturday with a doubleheader at 1 p.m. and a the series wrap up Sunday at 12 p.m. All three games will air live on ESPN3 with Nathan McCreary and former GT softball player Christy Blair on the call Saturday, and Richard Musterer taking over the play-by-play duties on Sunday.
Fans should be aware that Georgia Tech expects a high volume of traffic on Saturday due to a high school track meet at Griffin Track. Fans are encouraged to park on Fowler and Eighth Streets, as well as in the Peters Parking Deck.
