THE FLATS – The Georgia Tech softball team is set to play in at least 11 games that will air online via ESPN3 in 2014 as part of a record-setting broadcast package from the ACC. In all, 242 spring events, including 37 softball games, will have broadcast coverage in 2014.

Nine of the 11 games will be played at Mewborn Field, beginning with the Jackets’ first two ACC games March 1 against Boston College.
The broadcast schedule also includes the third game of the series against ACC newcomer Notre Dame on March 9 at 1 p.m., the midweek doubleheader against Virginia March 12 at 4 p.m. and all three games of the North Carolina series April 12-13, as well as the midweek home game against Georgia on April 16 at 5 p.m.
NC State hosts the Yellow Jackets on March 19 in an ESPN3 doubleheader.
