Softball Opens 2019 Season at River City Leadoff

THE FLATS – Georgia Tech softball kicks off its 31st season and second under head coach Aileen Morales this weekend, traveling to Jacksonville, Fla., to compete in the River City Leadoff. Over the three days of competition, Feb. 8-10, Tech will face off against Providence, UMass-Lowell and Jacksonville.

Schedule:
Friday, Feb. 8
4:30 p.m. – Georgia Tech vs. Providence

Saturday, Feb. 9
11:30 a.m. – Georgia Tech vs.  Providence
1 p.m. – Georgia Tech vs. UMass-Lowell

Sunday, Feb. 10
12:30 p.m. – Georgia Tech at Jacksonville

Opponent info:
The Yellow Jackets clash with UMass-Lowell and Jacksonville for the first time this weekend. Tech leads the all-time series with Providence, 2-0, both wins coming during the 2011 season.
