NORTHRIDGE, Calif. – Georgia Tech softball takes a break from Atlantic Coast Conference play, traveling to the west coast to compete in the Matador Classic hosted by CSUN in Northridge, Calif. from Friday-Sunday, March 23-35. Over the three days of competition, the Jackets will play Pacific, CSUN, Cal Poly and Santa Clara for a total of in five games.

The Yellow Jackets face two opponents for the first time ever this weekend in Pacific and CSUN. The Jackets will face Cal Poly for the third time, with the all-time series tied at 1-1. The Jackets took the last meeting in 2012 in Tempe, Ariz. Tech took the only meeting with Santa Clara 4-0 in 2000 in San Jose, Calif.
