THE FLATS – The #SocialSwarm, a team of social media fan ambassadors, will debut Oct. 4 when the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets host ACC Coastal Division rival Miami at Bobby Dodd Stadium. The fan team will be comprised of GT students, faculty, alumni and special guests, and will add another layer to Georgia Tech’s social media presence on gameday.
#SocialSwarm has been developed in order to grow relationships between the Georgia Tech Athletic Association and its various social influences. #SocialSwarm provides fan ambassadors to share their unique views in-game and engage with other GT fans, students and alumni.
The #SocialSwarm team, which will be determined later this month, will have an all-access glimpse into gameday on The Flats and team members will share their fan experience through their social media channels.
Once the #SocialSwarm team roster is set for the Miami game, we will promote their various social media handles as they begin curating fan content leading up to the Miami game.
