The #SocialSwarm, a team of social media fan ambassadors, will return Oct. 24 when the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets host Florida State at Bobby Dodd Stadium.
The fan team will be comprised of GT students, faculty, alumni and special guests that will add another layer to Georgia Tech’s robust social media presence on gameday.
#SocialSwarm was developed in order to grow relationships between the Georgia Tech Athletic Association and its various social influences. #SocialSwarm is a place for fan ambassadors to share their unique views throughout the stadium in-game and engage with other GT fans, students and alumni.
The #SocialSwarm team, which will be determined later this month, will have an all-access glimpse into gameday on The Flats and will share their fan experience through their social media channels. Check out last year’s #SocialSwarm recap via Storify.
Once the #SocialSwarm team roster is set for the FSU game, we will promote their various social media handles as they begin curating fan content leading up to #GTHomecoming.
There will be a few new additions to this year’s #SocialSwarm experience. Additional details will be announced closer to the game.
