Rogers Honored As ACC Defensive Lineman Of The Week

Georgia Tech defensive end Nick Rogers was honored as Atlantic Coast Conference Defensive Lineman of the Week for his performance in the Yellow Jackets’ 45-10 win over Duke.

The junior from East Point, Ga., had seven tackles, two sacks, three tackles for loss and a caused fumble against the Blue Devils. Rogers’ two sacks resulted in minus-16 yards, and one of them caused a fumble that Tech recovered. He also had another tackle for a 10-yard loss and one quarterback pressure.

Rogers is second on team with eight sacks on the season.
