Road Work To Affect Baseball Stadium Traffic Tuesday Night

March 18, 2013

THE FLATS – Fans attending Tuesday night’s baseball game at Russ Chandler Stadium between Georgia Tech and Georgia Southern should be aware that Fowler Street, between 10th Street and Fifth Street/Ferst Drive, will be closed for road work.

For alternate routes, patrons may access Russ Chandler Stadium and the nearby Klaus Parking Deck by taking 10th Street to State Street to Ferst Drive, or by taking Techwood Drive to Fifth Street/Ferst Drive.

The closed portion of Fowler Street is highlighted in red on the map below.

Fowler Street will be closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day from Monday, March 18 to Friday, March 22 to allow for the milling, repaving and re-stripping of the road surface. The sidewalks on each side of Fowler will remain open at all times.
