The graduating senior gave a big boost to the Yellow Jackets as a senior, compiling a 14-6 singles record in dual matches during the spring, including an 9-3 mark in the ACC. Rakitt never lost playing at No. 6 (8-0) during the spring and was 6-6 combined playing at No. 4 and 5. He compiled a 20-15 singles record for the year, best since his freshman year. He also has compiled a 13-7 doubles record in the spring with freshman Andrew Li, playing all but one of those matches in the No. 3 position.

Rakitt finished his career with 72 singles wins, placing him among Tech’s top 15 in program history. He is scheduled to graduate at the end of the fall term, in December, with his bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering.

Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one’s academic career. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team.
