Radio Network Adds Stations In Augusta, Clarkesville

Aug. 8, 2007

The Georgia Tech ISP Sports Radio Network has added WNRR-AM (1230) in Augusta and WCHM-AM (1490) in Clarkesville to its list of affiliates for the upcoming season according to station officials and ISP Sports, the exclusive multimedia rights holder for Tech Athletics.

Both stations will carry live game broadcasts of Yellow Jacket football and basketball along with the popular “Chan Gailey Show,” a weekly call-in show featuring the Yellow Jackets’ head football coach, for the next three years. The “Yellow Jacket Journal” daily reports will also be aired by both stations.

“We are excited with the opportunity to be part of the Tech network in the second largest market in the state of Georgia (Augusta) and bring Yellow Jacket programming to Tech fans in northeast Georgia,” said Bob Biermann on behalf of the ownership of WNRR and WCHM. “This is a great asset for us.”
