ATLANTA–Georgia Tech opens the 2004 season Saturday at 1 p.m. as the Yellow Jackets host Samford at Bobby Dodd Stadium at Historic Grant Field.
The game will not be televised, and it can be heard on the Georgia Tech-ISP Radio Network, including Atlanta flagship station WQXI-AM 790 The Zone. A complete list of affiliates throughout the state of Georgia carrying the Tech-Samford broadcast is below.
In addition, the game is available on satellite radio on XM Radio ACC Channel 181.
Wes Durham, in his 10th season as the “Voice of the Yellow Jackets,” calls the action, along with former Atlanta Falcons great Jeff Van Note, who fills in this week for legendary Tech color analyst Kim King.
Pregame coverage begins at 11 a.m. with Yellow Jacket Countdown, the hour-long show featuring Tech Director of Athletics Dave Braine.
Although there is no live television coverage, the game will be replayed on CSS next Tuesday, Sept. 7 at 3 p.m. ET and 9 p.m. ET.
