NFL teams have cut down their active rosters to 53 players, assembled their practice squads, and are now prepping for the 2015 season. 13 #ProJackets made active 53-man rosters over the weekend, including rookies Shaq Mason (New England) and Darren Waller (Baltimore).
Rookies Isaiah Johnson (Detroit) and Zach Laskey (St. Louis), along with LB Brandon Watts (Minnesota) and DB Lou Young (Carolina), made their respective team’s practice squad.
Among those players cut over the weekend that have not been signed were WR Kevin Cone (Miami), DE Emmanuel Dieke (Miami), LB Quayshawn Nealy (Seattle), CB Rod Sweeting (Dallas), DB Jemea Thomas (Tennessee), and LB Philip Wheeler (San Francisco).
WR Stephen Hill was placed on Carolina’s reserve/injured list, while rookie WR DeAndre Smelter is on San Francisco’s reserve/non-football injury list.
