THE FLATS — In a dramatic victory over the Philadelphia Eagles, linebacker Derrick Morgan was able to scoop up a fourth-quarter fumble to give the Tennessee Titans a momentum-changing field goal as they wound up winning, 26-23.
Demaryius Thomas and Harrison Butker also had fine weekend performances as the #ProJackets and the NFL entered Week 4 of the regular season.
Thomas once again started for the Denver Broncos and was able to haul in 24 yards off four receptions, however the Broncos were unable to overcome Kansas City, falling 27-23. Thomas and the Broncos moved to 2-2 for the season. Defensive end Adam Gotsis was also able to make a season-high three combined tackles on the day.
Butker took and made both field goal attempts for the Kansas City Chiefs as they were able to improve to 4-0 on the season with a 27-23 win over Denver. Butker lined up a 33-yarder, while also going a perfect 3-for-3 in PATs.
New England Patriots right guard Shaq Mason played every offensive snap, allowing zero sacks to help the Patriots defeat the Miami Dolphins 38-7, moving to 2-2 on the season.
