Five Georgia Tech #ProJackets rookies made their preseason NFL debuts over the weekend during week 1 of the NFL Preseason schedule. Shaq Mason started at left guard for the New England Patriots; Baltimore’s Darren Waller (1 rec., 12 yds) and St. Louis’ Zach Laskey (1 rec., 9 yds) each recorded receptions, while Detroit’s Isaiah Johnson (2 tackles) and Seattle’s Quayshawn Nealy (1 tackles) made stops on defense.
DB Jemea Thomas (Tennessee) and CB Mario Butler (Buffalo) posted by the weekend’s best performances for the #ProJackets, recording seven and six tackles, respectively.
