ATLANTA–NCAA baseball regionals are scheduled for Friday, June 2 through Monday June 5 at 16 campus sites selected by the NCAA, and Georgia Tech has bid to host a regional at Russ Chandler Stadium.
The Yellow Jackets, ranked eighth in the nation, enter the final weekend of Atlantic Coast Conference play with a record of 40-13 overall, 17-10 in the ACC.
The NCAA will announce the 16 regional sites on Sunday, May 28 at 3:30 p.m. ET, live on ESPNews, and then will reveal the entire 64-team NCAA field on Monday, May 30 at 12:30 p.m. ET, live on ESPN.
Fans can now preorder NCAA regional tickets. Forms are available in the Georgia Tech Ticket Office and will also be available at this weekend’s games against Miami (Thursday and Friday, 7 p.m., Saturday, 1 p.m.).
Should Georgia Tech be selected to host a regional at Russ Chandler Stadium, tournament ticket books will go on sale on Sunday night, May 28, on-line at www.ramblinwreck.com, or through the Tech ticket office (1.888.TECH.TIX) beginning at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, May 30. Tournament ticket books are priced at $84 for a reserved chairback seat, $70 for a reserved bench seat, and $56 for general admission.
Tournament ticket books purchased in advance can be picked up at the Georgia Tech Ticket Office on Thursday, June 1 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Friday at Will Call (Third Base Entry Plaza), beginning 90 minutes before the start of the first game.
Single-game tickets, if available, can only be purchased at the gate on game day, beginning 90 minutes before first pitch. Single-game tickets are priced as follows: Reserved Chairback Seat, $12; Reserved Bench Seat, $10; General Admission, $8; Student General Admission, $6.
Tech fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance. Whenever possible, the NCAA brackets teams locally, and we would expect to have schools with strong local interest placed in the Atlanta Regional, including a team from the Southeastern Conference.
