THE FLATS – It is one of the busiest weekends of the year for Georgia Tech athletics on The Flats, as a total of 16 events are set for Friday-Sunday featuring Georgia Tech baseball, softball, women’s tennis, men’s tennis, women’s basketball and men’s basketball.
PARKING
Parking arrangements for each event are as follows:
Softball (ACC/Big Ten Challenge – Friday-Sunday)
Free parking is available in the McCamish Pavilion lot throughout the weekend, as well as along 8th Street and Fowler Street.
Baseball (Atlanta Challenge – Friday-Sunday)
Parking is available for $5 per vehicle in the Klaus parking deck on Ferst Drive.
Women’s Tennis (vs. Chattanooga, Georgia Southern – Saturday)
Free parking is available in the Family Housing lot (entrance off of 10th Street).
Men’s Tennis (vs. South Carolina – Sunday)
Free parking is available in the Family Housing lot (entrance off of 10th Street).
Women’s Basketball (vs. Pitt – Sunday)
Free parking is available for courtside ticket holders in the McCamish Pavilion lot. Free parking is available for all fans in the Family Housing Lot (entrance off of 10th Street), as well as along Fowler Street.
Men’s Basketball (vs. Syracuse – Sunday)
Usual Georgia Tech men’s basketball parking procedures will be followed. Click HERE to purchase a single-game parking pass.
Special Note for Sunday
Men’s basketball parking begins on Sunday at 5 p.m. Any vehicles parked in the McCamish Pavilion lot that do not have an appropriate men’s basketball parking pass will be towed beginning at 5 p.m.
FAMILY FUN ZONE
As part of Sunday’s plethora of events on campus, Georgia Tech athletics will host a family fun zone on Sunday from 11 a.m-1 p.m. outside of Byers Tennis Complex. Fans are encouraged to bring the whole family for inflatable games, face painting and fun before going to support the Yellow Jackets’ men’s tennis (noon), baseball (noon), softball (12:30 p.m.), women’s basketball (2 p.m.) and men’s basketball (6:30 p.m.) teams, which are all in action at home on Sunday.
TICKETS
Tickets for this weekend’s three baseball games and Sunday’s women’s basketball contest versus Pitt are still available and can be purchased online by clicking HERE. Sunday’s men’s basketball game versus Syracuse is sold out. Admission for softball and tennis is FREE.
