orgia Tech Women's Basketball Preseason Diary -- Nov. 4

Nov. 4, 2005

by Giuliett Ancora

It is obvious from the atmosphere at practice that our first game is getting closer! Before practice we were fortunate enough to have Coach Dunn, who is an assistant coach with the Indiana Fever, come and talk with us about our team strengths and weaknesses and the things that we need to improve on to be successful. As we headed down to the court everyone was focused and ready for practice, and it definitely showed! Despite the fact that it was a late practice, and that it was the end of the week, we had one of the most competitive practices thus far!

Although I am not currently out there on the court, due to my ACL injury, the girls are all working really hard and are certainly prepared for the season, it’s going to be a very exciting year for our team and we all can’t wait for it to begin!

AND HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY TO CHEY!!!!

*This is one of several “entries” this season describing the team’s events leading up to the first game of the season. Keep coming back to ramblinwreck.com to see what the Yellow Jackets are up to this fall!
