No. 8 Georgia Tech Baseball Hosts Wofford on Tuesday

ATLANTA – Eighth-ranked Georgia Tech (39-13, 17-10 ACC) hosts Wofford (19-33) on Tuesday at Russ Chandler Stadium. First pitch is set for 7 p.m.

The Yellow Jackets are coming off a three-game sweep of Duke last weekend. Georgia Tech, which is in the middle of a seven-game homestand to close out the regular season, hosts Miami for a three-game series this Thursday-Saturday.

Freshman Chris Hicks (3-1, 6.41) will start on Tuesday against the Terriers.

Georgia Tech leads the all-time series with Wofford, 7-0. The two teams last met in 2002, a 12-1 Yellow Jacket victory. Six of the seven meetings between the two schools came prior to 1921.
