No. 33 Jackets Visit North Alabama Tuesday

THE FLATS – No. 33 Georgia Tech women’s tennis breaks from league action to play a doubleheader at North Alabama on Tuesday. The Jackets and Lions will hold first serve at noon. The second match will begin approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first match.

THE SCENE: Georgia Tech (9-9, 6-5 ACC) seeks a pair of non-conference wins on Tuesday after splitting two matches over the weekend. The Jackets picked up a road win at Notre Dame on Friday before falling at Virginia on Sunday. Kenya Jones boasts a 24-10 overall singles record, including an 11-5 dual singles mark.

North Alabama is 5-11 on the season having dropped the last four matchups. Tuesday’s meetings will mark the first in program history between the foes. Both matches will take place at the UNA Varsity Tennis Courts.
