>> No. 19 Georgia Tech looks to bounce back after a tough week and heads to Athens Tuesday night for the first of three meetings this season versus Georgia.
>> The 357th game in the all-time series is set for 7 p.m. at Foley Field and can be seen live on CSS and ESPN3 with Matt Stewart and Rusty Ensor. Nolan Alexander and Wiley Ballard have the call on WREK 91.1 FM in Atlanta.
>> The Yellow Jackets have won three-consecutive season-series from the Bulldogs and have not dropped a regular-season series to their rivals since 2007. Tech has won eight of the last 11 games in the series and is 39-29 versus UGA under Danny Hall. Tech is 4-1 in its last five regular-season games at Foley Field.
>> Freshman LHP Jonathan King is set for his third-straight midweek start, and the Murfreesboro, Tenn., native brings a 2-2 record and 3.60 ERA to Foley Field. He picked up the win in relief at Duke on Saturday with 2.2 innings of scoreless, hitless relief.
>> Junior CF Kyle Wren had a career-best 20-game hitting streak snapped Sunday at Duke. He hit .500 over the streak (42-for-84), which is the longest in the ACC this season, and the longest at Tech since a 23-game hit streak by Tyler Greene in 2005.
>> Tech’s offense enters the week continuing to lead the ACC in batting average (.328), slugging percentage (.481) and home runs (29). Kyle Wren’s .391 average is second in the league, while Matt Gonzalez (.378) and Daniel Palka (.376) are fifth and sixth, respectively.
