THE FLATS — The #ProJackets’ play this past week was highlighted by the power of Matt Wieters, who hit two home runs to help the Nationals rout the New York Mets on April 30.
Wieters has been on fire at the plate as of late, as he has three home runs over his last three outings, which included two home runs versus the New York Mets in a blowout win on April 30. He has also walked a total of seven times over his last 10 games, while posting 11 hits and seven RBIs.

Over his last 10 games, Charlie Blackmon has hit .386 (17-for-44) with three home runs, two triples, four doubles, 13 RBIs, three walks and seven runs scored. After a having his season-long 14-game hitting streak snapped on April 30 at Arizona, Blackmon bounced back with two hits on May 2 at San Diego.
Derek Dietrich continues to try to fight his way back into the starting lineup in Miami, while Blake Wood continues to get calls from the Cincinnati Reds out of the bullpen making a total of 13 appearances those far this season.
