NCAA Atlanta Regional Game Six

May 23, 2010

Recap |  Box Score

OREGON HEAD COACH MIKE WHITE
“I thought Georgia Tech played great. We had a great regional here. After they tied it up in the seventh, I worried that we wouldn’t be able to get the win. A lot of teams with our level of experience couldn’t have done that. But, I thought we played well, we just played basic small ball and got the sacrifice fly.”

On Mikayla Endicott
“What can you say about Endicott coming in. I had three pitchers on the bench and they all wanted to pitch in that big opportunity. The opportunity came and Endicott was ready to get the outs and she did it.”

GEORGIA TECH HEAD COACH Sharon Perkins
“We put up a great fight. We made good adjustments at the plate today, and stayed in it the whole game.”

SECOND BASEMAN Jen Yee
On Oregon Pitching Change in Seventh
“They broke up our momentum well. Obviously, you can’t go down with two strikeouts like that, and we didn’t handle it well.”

PITCHER Hope Rush
On having a better game against Oregon than the previous day
“Yesterday I thought I threw well, but we had a couple of things go their way. Today, I pitched better and our offense kept us in the game. Overall, I think we did well coming back from the last game.”
