Men's Tennis Concludes Weekend In Athens

ATHENS, Ga – Georgia Tech men’s tennis concluded their three-day weekend at the Southern Intercollegiate Championships on Sunday. Day three of the tournament saw the final round of doubles action at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex. 

In consolation play, Rohan Sachdev and Krish Arora put up a battle against North Carolina Wilmington’s Jonathan Baron and Reece Falck, pushing the match to the final point, but dropping a heartbreaker, 8-7 (7-5). 

In the Black Draw finals, Richard Biaigotti and Gabriele Brancatelli claimed the doubles title, defeating Jacksonville State’s Ivan Marrero Curbelo and Lucius Soller, 8-7 (7-3). 

In the Silver Draw (Robin Round 3), Tech’s Robert Bauer and Owen DeMuth (Georgia Tech) defeated Vanderbilt’s Alex Hillhouse and Callum Rendle, 8-7 (7-1).
