Five newcomers join the Georgia Tech volleyball roster in 2013 and RamblinWreck.com is more than halfway through a series of interviews with the freshmen getting ready to start their first season as a Yellow Jacket.
Today, we focus on 5’8 defensive specialist/libero London Ackermann. The Louisville, Ky., native was a four-year member of the Assumption High School volleyball team under head coach Ron Kordes and captained the 2012 varsity team. She helped lead the Rockets to three state championships (2010-12) and the team finished the 2012 season with a 41-2 record, a No. 1 ranking in the state of Kentucky and No. 5 in the country by MaxPreps Xcellent 25 rankings.
