THE FLATS – Georgia Tech softball (9-6) notched its third-straight win on Wednesday night, topping Kennesaw State (5-10) 6-3 at Mewborn Field.

Trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the first, senior Katie Krzus drives in sophomore Breanna Roper on a single to knot the game at 1-1. Junior Crosby Huckabay drives in sophomore Tricia Awald to give Tech the 2-1 lead in the bottom of the first. Capping off the scoring in the bottom of the first, sophomore Skye Webb sends a single up the middle to score Kzrus and bring the score to 3-1.
Sophomore Cameron Stanford hits a solo home run to left field in the bottom of the fourth to bring the score to 4-1.

Krzus records her second hit of the game with a home run to lead off the bottom of the fifth, adding the final tally for Tech at 6-3.
