KENNESAW, Ga. – Georgia Tech softball (24-19, 5-7 ACC) shutout Kennesaw State (22-20) 7-0 on Wednesday afternoon to close out its five game road trip. Juniors Brooke Barfield and Morgan Bruce combined for seven shutout innings in the circle with Barfield coming away with the win.
In the top of the first, a fielding error by Kennesaw State plated sophomoreΒ Tricia Awald to give Tech the 1-0 edge.
