THE FLATS – Georgia Tech will have three representatives competing this week in the competitive Riviera/ITA All-American Championships in Pacific Palisades, Calif. Senior Rasheeda McAdoo will be joined by juniors Paige Hourigan and Johnnise Renaud in The Golden State.
Strong Competition Awaits
McAdoo will open play on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. ET against Texas Tech’s Gabriella Talaba in the qualifying rounds. The Yellow Jacket began the fall season ranked No. 77 in the ITA preseason rankings. Talaba enters the tournament ranked No. 56 in the ITA preseason rankings.
Juniors Paige Hourigan and Johnnise Renaud will open play on Thursday, Oct. 6, in main draw competition. Both Hourigan and Renaud come into the tournament preseason ranked. Renaud comes in at No. 20, while Hourigan falls in at No. 24. Draws for main singles action will be announced later this week.

Main draw matches, beginning Oct. 6, will be streamed live on FloTennis.com for a subscription. Coverage beings at 2:15 p.m. ET on Oct. 6. and continues through Oct. 9.
Last Time Out
Tech last competed in the Bulldog Challenge two weeks ago. Thus far this season, McAdoo owns a 4-2 singles mark, while Renaud is 2-1 having competed solely in the Bulldog Challenge. This tournament will mark Hourigan’s first fall competition of the 2016-17 season.
Next Up
Next up, Tech will head to Gainesville, Fla. for the ITA Southeast Regionals. Action in Gainesville will begin Oct. 20.
