ATLANTA – No. 25 Georgia Tech (30-12) will host Chattanooga (22-24) on Wednesday for a non-conference softball doubleheader at Glenn Field. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m.

The Yellow Jackets dropped two of three games to Atlantic Coast Conference foe Florida State this past weekend. Tech remains the conference leader in team batting average (.314). The Jackets tied a school record on Sunday with their 37th team home run and continue to lead the league in that category as well.
The Lady Mocs have struggled over their last 10 games, going 3-7. UTC is hitting .221 as a team and holds a 2.64 team earned run average. Ashleigh Bull leads the Lady Mocs offensively with seven home runs and a .292 batting average. In the circle, JayCee Wood leads the way with an 11-10 record, 2.45 ERA, 96 strikeouts in 145.2 innings pitched.
Tech swept UTC in the season opener on Feb. 15, 7-2 and 7-1, in Chattanooga, Tenn. The Jackets hold a 10-5 advantage in the overall series meetings between these two programs.
Whitney Haller continues to lead the Yellow Jackets offensively. Haller, a freshman from Marietta, Ga., leads the ACC in home runs (14), RBI (45), slugging percentage (.845), runs scored (44), total bases (109) and in the circle she leads the conference in saves (6).
The Yellow Jackets will return to ACC action this weekend in Raleigh, N.C. Tech and NC State stand in second place with a 6-3 record, one game behind No. 23 North Carolina and Virginia Tech at 7-2. The three-game series will get underway on Saturday with two games at 1 p.m.
