THE FLATS — Georgia Tech track and field team finished up competition at the Georgia Tech Invitational Saturday afternoon at the Griffin Track.

“It was a great weekend of competition for the women from the beginning to the end,” head women’s track coach Alan Drosky said. “Weather was challenging at times, but the women really came to compete. We had so many personal bests that I lost count and we had seasonal bests in both relays. Every event area performed very well, they are making great progress each week, and they are coming together as a team. We’re excited about this group of women.”

“I was really pleased with how the guys came back and fought again on day two,” head men’s track coach Grover Hinsdale said. “I know we had a significant number of personal and season bests today. This team has shown it will fight. I am very pleased with where we are at this point in the season.”
